Join Rob to explore the principles of slow food and healthy eating, and how the principles espoused by Community Child Care's the Little Green Spade are aligned with the Reggio Emilia approach to produce and good eating. The purpose of the cooking experience being to provide delegates with the opportunity to listen and observe the practice of Rob Rees, a recognised chef and expert in the area of sound nutritional practice. Rob is one of the world’s leading campaigners for a better food culture and a champion of society’s most vulnerable. As well as being a Michelin trained Chef for over 30 years Rob has had formal roles as Chairman of Childrens Food Trust and Lets Get Cooking, Board Member Visit England, Director Gloucestershire NHS, founder of The Wiggly Worm Charity and Rob Rees CIC and Board Member Food Standards Agency UK.
The demonstration will allow for the exchange of ideas and the building of knowledge and skills which will inform both professional and personal selection of produce and foodstuffs, menu development and cooking practice.
